Personal Protective Equipment
PPE practice should be in keeping with regional standard established by the Champlain Health Regional Incident Command as of April 22, 2020.
For usual care of ALL admitted patients and while on inpatient wards please wear a procedure mask* as part of routine practice.
*can be worn for several hours, unless visibly damaged, soiled, or wet
For routine care of confirmed or suspected COVID-19 patients please follow the following steps for donning and doffing contact/droplet PPE:
